FAQ

ChatGPT is free. Why do I have to pay for it?

While ChatGPT itself is a free tool, our app is a client for OpenAI's GPT platform, which charges for usage based on the number of requests made to the API. Therefore, the charges you are seeing are for the usage of OpenAI's GPT platform, not for the ChatGPT app itself.

I haven't received my API key. How do I get it?

To use ChatGPT, you will need to sign up for OpenAI's GPT platform and generate an API key. You can do this by visiting OpenAI's website and following their instructions for signing up. Once you have created an account, you will be able to generate an API key that you can use with ChatGPT.

My API key is expired or invalid. What can I do?

If you receive an error message indicating that your API key is expired or invalid, it means that the token associated with your API key has expired, or you may have reached your usage limit for the month. To resolve this issue, you will need to generate a new API key or upgrade your account with OpenAI to increase your usage limit.

Network Error: How can I fix it?

A network error can occur if there is an interruption in the connection between your device and the OpenAI server. This can be due to a variety of reasons, such as a poor internet connection, server downtime, or maintenance being performed on the OpenAI platform. To resolve this issue, you can try restarting the app or your device, checking your internet connection, or waiting for OpenAI to resolve any server-related issues.
